In the framework of the creation of its Innovation Lab, Linxens reinforces its Management Team

In the framework of the creation of its Innovation Lab, Linxens announces the appointment of Eric Eymard as Senior Vice President Innovation and Jean-Marc Herande as Senior Vice President Business Unit Lighting.


Linxens, a world leader in the design and manufacture of Microconnectors for smartcards and RFID Antennas and Inlays, announces the creation of a new, dedicated set-up focused on identifying and developing promising innovation opportunities within the microelectronic environment.


Building on its technical expertise acquired in the fields of Microconnector fabrication and RFID antennas production, Linxens wants to expand its product offering by proposing new technological solutions in order to develop in new markets.

Eric Eymard, to date Senior Vice President Business Unit Lighting, is appointed Senior Vice President Innovation, in charge of the creation and development of the Innovation Lab.


Jean-Marc Herande will succeed Eric Eymard as Senior Vice President Business Unit Lighting.


About Eric Eymard

Eric started his career in 1995 as Technical Director, before becoming Plant Director of an industrial group specializing in surface treatments for the electronics sector.

From 2008 to 2014, Eric was General Manager of Microtech, a subsidiary of the Interplex group who wanted to develop its smart card connector business.


In 2014, Linxens acquired Microtech and Eric was appointed Vice President for Business Development.


Eric was appointed Senior Vice President of the Lighting Solutions Business Unit in 2017.


In 2018, Eric was appointed Senior Vice President Innovation.


Eric holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (CNAM, 1998) and a Master’s Degree in Business Management and Administration (IAE, 2004).


About Jean-Marc Herande 

Jean-Marc Herande / Senior Vice President Lighting


Jean-Marc has more than 25 years’ experience in global business in various industrial sectors. He started with Saft Advanced Battery Division, in the Defence sector, then spent 10 years in automotive business with Delphi, where he worked in France, UK and India in several functional and general management roles. He then became CEO of Draka France, a fiber-optic and copper cable manufacturer with leading positions particularly in the aerospace industry.


Before joining Linxens, he spent 9 years with Jabil, a global electronics company where he led one of the key businesses before being appointed Director of Global Automotive Sector.


In 2018, Jean-Marc was appointed Senior Vice President Lighting.


Jean-Marc holds an Engineering Degree from Arts et Métiers ParisTech and an MBA from Insead.
