We expect the same high standards from our suppliers and partners, fulfilling all conditions set by laws and regulations but also complying with Linxens Corporate Social Responsibility Charter.
ETHICAL PURCHASING: LINXENS Conflict Minerals Policy
Linxens recognizes the risks of significant adverse impacts which may be associated with extracting, trading, handling and exporting minerals from conflict affected areas. The sale of conflict minerals, specifically identified as tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold (known as 3TG minerals) funds rebel armies, fuelling conflict and human rights abuses.
Linxens supports the goals and objectives of Section 1502 of the Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, which aims to prevent the use of conflict minerals that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo or adjoining countries as defined in the Act.
Linxens is committed to the responsible sourcing of “conflict minerals” throughout its supply chain and we expect our business partners to share this commitment. The aim is for all products which are manufactured or contracted to be manufactured by LINXENS to be Conflict-Free.
We follow key principles to determine the use, source and origin of 3TG minerals. If a supplier refuses to cooperate and take action towards removal of conflict mineral sources from products supplied to LINXENS, or to comply with our Policy Standard, Linxens may suspend its relationship with him.
